CONDITIONS OF USE - V1.0

  1. The card will remain the property of Taipan Restaurant at all times.
  2. Lost cards will not be replaced. Immediate notification is required in order to put a stop on the card. A new card number will be issued (subject to discretion of Taipan. A charge may apply).
  3. The card is only valid when used by the registered member and is not transferable. Signature verification may be required.
  4. Your card number must be quoted when calling in order to take advantage of the quick booking facilities.
  5. Vouchers are earned on the Taipan Red Card only and will be sent directly to the member. The amount of vouchers issued will depend on the number of visits to the Restaurant and is subject to change or withdrawal without notification.
  6. No expiry date is applicable to Red card members. Gold card members are 12 months renewable.
  7. Your details will be held at the Taipan Restaurant only. If there are no objections we will from time to time inform you of special offers and/or send you updated menus.
  8. From time to time we may feel that the “Conditions Of Use” will require modification or updating. This will immediately render the previous “Conditions Of Use” void. Please check version releases to see whether you need an updated copy.
  9. No responsibility is accepted by the Restaurant for changing, modifying or withdrawing any privileges gained, earned or otherwise used by a card member.

Additional Conditions (Gold Card Members Only)

  1. The card entitles the member to receive a discount at the prevailing rate against the total value of the meal. Rate of discount may vary and is subject to change without notification.
  2. Discount only allowed if card is shown.
  3. Discount also applies to takeaways but at half the prevailing rate.
  4. Discount on drinks are not included. (Your meal and drinks will be totalled separately and the discount applied to the meal).
  5. Only one card can be used per table per night to attract the Gold card discount. (Also applies to parties which span over more than one table).
  6. At present the card is available for use right throughout the week. Discount allowed is subject to no other offer or promotion taking place.
  7. Non renewal of a Gold card will withdraw all Gold card privileges and reduce the member to Red card status.
